How METRO Works

1. Agency Referral

Churches, civic organizations, and other agencies refer clients who are seeking financial assistance to METRO.

2. Application

Clients fill out our application, detailing their financial situation.

3. Evaluation/Assessment

METRO evaluates client’s monthly expenses, job status, goals, and needs.

4. Recommendations

METRO creates “Path to Independence” recommendations for clients to sign and follow. Payment is issued for the most important needs.

5. METRO

Our staff begins the process of Mentoring, Educating, Training, and Rehabilitating to help clients in Overcoming their situations. As long as clients show progress, they are eligible for future assistance.
